Making a difference................

In mid June I had the honour of presenting several gifts to the Boys & Girls Scouts in El-Fasher which were donated by the Calgary Boy Scouts.  I would like to thank them for taking the time to collect, organize and ship all the sports equipment and stationary.  The children and leaders were overwhelmed to receive the gifts.  Every child present at the Scout night was able to go home with a “treat” for which they were very thankful.   What was really special was the Scout flag that was donated.  They have never had a Scout flag before so this brought a lot of pride and morale to the group when they raised it up their flag pole (Garret/Danielle…..I really appreciate you putting this all together at your end.  I could not have done this without your help and support).
